$200,000 Commited Toward Transformation of Baisley Park Community Garden

Monday, September 8

An additional $200,000 has been committed to the transformation of Baisley Park Community Garden in Jamaica, Queens! 50 is so excited about the plans that Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project developed, that he is donating all the funds necessary to renovate this outdoor space so that the community may use it in a variety of ways. The new Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson Community Garden will be an urban green space where children will have the opportunity to engage in environmental education and other outdoor after-school activities, and residents can have a beautiful space where neighborhood activities can take place.

The G-Unity Foundation looks forward announcing the opening of this park later this fall. Stay tuned!
