G-Unit Brighten up the Holidays with Surprise Visits in Queens, Nashville, and Compton
Tuesday, January 23
On December 16 Young Buck, Yayo, Olivia, and Young Hot Rod surprised community members at the nonprofit organization Project Hope, a G-Unity Foundation grantee. These residents from the Jamaica, Queens neighborhood had been invited to see a holiday performance by the Summer Stars Campers, also a Foundation grantee. These talented performers put on a fantastic show for everyone. At the end of the show Young Buck, Yayo, Olivia, and Young Hot Rod still had another surprise, as they brought with them gift certificates from Target for each child and each parent, just in time to finish up their holiday shopping.
At the same time in Compton, California, Spider Loc revisited Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum and suprised over 250 kids with certificates, also from Target.
In addition to participating in the December 16 event, Young Buck also surprised the The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee with a $15,000 donation for their Extreme Game Room Makeover. Overall, it was a busy holiday season for the G-Unit!
